FAQ

Common Questions

Letters 668A (Notice of Levy on Wages) and CP504 (Final Notice of Intent to Levy) are among the most urgent. The 668A means seizure has already begun. The CP504 gives you 30 days before the IRS can act. Both require immediate professional response.

The clock starts from the date on the letter — not the date you received it or opened it. If a letter sat in your mailbox for a week, you may have already lost 7 of your 30 days. Check the date on every letter immediately.

We strongly advise against it. IRS agents are trained to collect, not to help you find the best resolution. Anything you say can be used to assess additional liability. Once you have representation, all IRS contact goes through your Enrolled Agent.

No. Requesting a free educational guide has absolutely no connection to the IRS whatsoever. Your information is only used to send you the guide and follow up from Phoenix Tax Resolution Strategies.
